Karin Engelbrecht

With almost 40 years of being immersed in the extraordinary town of Hermanus, Karin Engelbrecht has grown with this booming town. She started her career in Real Estate at the age of 22, discovering a passion for the industry and in particular for servicing the Onrus, Vermont, Berghof, and Chanteclair area, by learning from her father who was also in the industry. He had his own real estate license in the greater Hermanus village of Onrus for many years.

Karin’s character resonates with the values of honesty and integrity. She feels that honesty is a trait that buyers and sellers would most appreciate in their agent. She is a very reliable person and believes it is of the utmost importance to be honest and fair with all of her clients. She will go the extra mile to ensure the best and most comprehensive service to both her buyers and sellers and relies on her decades of experience to guide her to execute the best possible practices.

After joining Seeff in early 2013, she received a Chairman’s award that same year. She upholds her Achiever Status nine years running and received multiple awards for both Unit and Rand values. She is proud of her Platinum Achiever Status and grateful for the path she has been able to walk in this often challenging industry.

She moved to Hermanus at the age of 16 and attended Hermanus High School. Her parents bought a home on the Onrus Lagoon and she soon fell in love with the small coastal town. She saw early on the potential this suburb had and decided to follow in her father’s footsteps. Hermanus - and especially Onrus - had rewarded her greatly with a life full of quality memories and blessings. The one-of-a-kind beauty of this charming side of the world won her heart, with a superb setting between the mountain and the sea and a holiday feel like no other. She doesn’t believe there is any other place she would have rather raised her three daughters - wishing for them to experience the same quality of life that she was fortunate to live.

Karin is very dedicated and diligent in every endeavour she undertakes. She strives to be better each day and to uphold her Achiever status annually by committing to this industry. Trust is earned, especially in this industry where competition is tough and rules are easily ignored.

She feels grateful that she has had the privilege of meeting many people over the years of networking and has been fortunate enough to make lasting friendships.
